People Profiles

Robert Anderson (National Manager – Christchurch office)

MNZPI; AREINZ

Rob Anderson joined Thompson Wentworth in 2003 as Senior Property Manager and has extensive experience in all facets of the property profession including; commercial, industrial & shopping centre management, leasing, and retail consultancy

Prior to joining Thompson Wentworth, Rob spent seven years in Melbourne as a Commercial Property Manager before moving to Christchurch where he was responsible for setting up the Asset and Retail Service Departments for another national property services provider.

Some of Robert’s achievements have included the successful sale negotiations for several large buildings and developments plus many rent reviews and lease renewal agreements. Robert also specialises in the co-ordination of multi-tenanted office buildings during refurbishment works, sourcing suitable retail sites for national and international retail chains, implementing strategies for enhancing building profitability and successful redevelopment strategies of commercial property

 

Paul Crew (Manager – Wellington office)

Paul Crew joined Thompson Wentworth’s Wellington office in January 2008 as Body Corporate Manager/Property Manager after three years as a Body Corporate and Building Manager in Auckland where he managed over 40 residential and commercial properties.

In the last four years Paul has been extensively involved in a wide range of Body Corporate issues including weathertightness claims.

Prior to becoming a Body Corporate Manager/Property Manager/Building Manager Paul worked for more than 20 years in the public service, a state owned enterprise and a privatised SOE; the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of Education, The Treasury, the Ministry of Transport and Vehicle Testing NZ Limited. For ten years Paul was Company Secretary/General Manager Property managing the leasing, acquisition, disposal and development of a nationwide property network.

 

Keith Mitchell (Manager, Auckland office)

Keith graduated from Auckland University in 1987 with a law degree and commenced work as a staff solicitor with national law firm Chapman Tripp.

Keith moved to Telecom in 1995 as National Commercial Manager responsible for Telecom’s property divestment programme, property acquisitions, lease management and management of electricity supply, building facilities management and building access control. During that period Telecom acquired in excess of 300 properties and divested properties valued in excess of $300m.

Through Keith’s management of our in-house legal resource, Thompson Wentworth can manage the process for property acquisition, due diligence and purchase, lease negotiation, building supplier contract negotiation, property sales and strategies for enhancing a building’s value.
